Gordon Gibb Director (Trustee Board) BSc Architectural Studies (Hons), Pg Dip Urban Design


Gordon studied architecture at the University of Strathclyde and gained his post-graduate diploma there in Urban Design. He graduated from university in 1998 and qualified as an architect in 2001. Gordon worked for a commercial practice in Glasgow for 5 years, working on a large number of retail, office and industrial projects before going on to lead the practice’s residential team. He then spent a year working on education projects in Melbourne, Australia, before joining Hoskins Architects in 2004. Gordon was promoted to director in 2018.

Gordon is responsible for leading multi-disciplinary design teams in the running of multi-million pound projects, one of these projects being the redevelopment of the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. He has the expertise and extensive knowledge necessary for the development and documentation of high-profile Lottery Fund applications and has successfully coordinated a number of sensitive city centre planning applications.
